Ladybirds is a class of 9 children. There are four members of staff in the class and we each work with all of the children throughout the school day. The team comprises of Miss Smith (Class Teacher), Miss Jackson, Miss Lloyd and Mrs Davies.
We focus closely on the individual needs of each child and our curriculum reflects not only on what our pupils need to learn next but also and equally importantly considers how they learn best. There are opportunities for indoor and outdoor learning and the children are able to explore their ideas using a wide range of practical equipment.
We strive to inspire each and every pupil to achieve their full potential and most importantly to be happy and content in their learning environment.
Ladybird PE sessions are on a Tuesday and a Friday. Forest School is on a Friday.
We will be having PE on Tuesday’s and Friday’s. Please make sure your child has their PE kit to keep in school and is labelled.
Our forest day is on a Wednesday afternoon. Can your child bring forest clothes in a labelled bag on the day. We also need a pair of wellies to keep in school.
Please send your child’s reading book into school everyday. Please write in the reading record when you read with your child at home. Your child’s book will be changed regularly.
