Owls

Owl Class are part of our Lower Key Stage 2 phase of school. We are a mix of Years 3 and 4 children, supported by Mrs R Gibbons (Class Teacher) and 2 Teaching Assistants. 

Through our ‘Aim High’ Ethos, in Owl Class we begin to apply our knowledge and skills using our awareness of the wider world around us. We focus closely on the individual needs of each child and their preferred learning style to ensure that our curriculum meets their needs in order for them to progress and achieve. We have created a safe and happy learning environment that inspires the children to care for each other and also promotes a positive atmosphere, encouraging self-confidence and independence, in all aspects of life and learning.

Please take a look at our class newsletter each term to find out about what we are learning and doing in our lessons and time in school. 

Please feel free to use your child’s Home School communication book to share any information you need to with us. We also have a class email address; owl@woodsetton.dudley.sch.uk 

 

Class updates 

1. In Owl Class, we have PE on Thursday and Friday. Please make sure your child has a clearly labelled kit in school on these days. 

2. Your child will have a reading book and record. Please ensure these are sent into school each day for our daily reading sessions. 

3. Please use the ‘Home School Communication Book’ to share notes with us. We will also use this to let you know any information or low level issues.  Any confidential or medical information should be shared via the school office.
